Dogs have helped the human race for thousands of years. Since evolving from wolves around 20,000 years ago, they’ve been tamed by hunter-gatherers and the long evolution of domestication began. Herding dogs came first, and since then we’ve trained dogs for search and rescue, military, detection and service jobs. More recent roles include detection of medical conditions and therapy tasks, where they offer support without judgement, build confidence and bring happiness and joy to brighten the day! Dogs’ intelligence, unique abilities and close bond with humans is invaluable and we salute our canine pals!
